Shares of PC Jeweller rallied as much as 12% to a day's high of Rs 18.21 on the BSE on Tuesday, extending gains for a second consecutive session and taking the two-day rally to 26% after Cupid promoter Aditya Kumar Halwasiya bought 5.10 crore shares in the company.
The transaction price was Rs 14.43 per share, taking the total value of the investment to Rs 73.60 crore, NSE block deal data showed. Aditya Halwasiya, chairman and managing director of Cupid Ltd, is a third-generation entrepreneur who emerged as India's fastest wealth creator by percentage growth, according to the M3M Hurun India Rich List 2026.
