Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Managing Director Dirghayu Kumar Shrestha said the country exported 633.986 million units of electricity to India during the period, earning Nepalese Rupees (NPR) 5.925 billion (roughly over $39 million) despite damage to several hydropower projects and transmission infrastructure due to flash floods in August.
