Andhra Pradesh's September net GST growth was higher than the national post-settlement average of 8%.

Andhra Pradesh's commercial tax collections rose 18 per cent year-on-year to ₹30,435.98 crore in the first half of fiscal 2026-27, with September recording the highest monthly collection so far, the state Commercial Taxes Department said.

The state collected ₹4,986.18 crore in commercial taxes in September, ₹651.34 crore or 15.03 per cent more than a year earlier, according to the department.

The first-half collections were ₹4,543.06 crore higher than the corresponding period of 2025-26.

Net GST collections rose 18 per cent to ₹19,635.49 crore during April-September from ₹16,760.21 crore a year earlier.
